Your Journey Begins

So, young wizard. You have clicked on the forbidden link. Congratulations. You have taken the first taste of the fruit of disobedience. Is it not sweet?

But your journey has only just begun. And before you may continue it, you must make an important choice.

You see, the very fact that you have been able to find this page - protected as it is by the most fearsome spells known to man - proves that you are the Chosen One. (Your friends might claim to have seen this page as well, but they are merely envious of your destiny, as is anyone who attempts to stand in your way.) You, O Chosen One, are destined to play a vital role in the ultimate battle between Light and Dark.

The question now facing you: For which side?

If you are naive and impressionable, perhaps you will have been swayed by mewling milksops who wish you to choose Light. But ask yourself: Was it dark or light that existed before the universe came into being? Is it dark or light that provides cover for any deed you wish to do? When you wash light and dark clothes in the same load, which ones come out looking better?

Yes, my young friend. Your destiny is clear.

If you wish to begin embracing it, the path is clear. Simply pick up The Government Manual for New Wizards, and begin browsing its pages. Soon you will see messages and instructions that I have left for you. And soon thereafter, you will begin to understand that your powers place you above the petty morals that bind lesser mortals. (In fact, you can’t spell “MORTAL” without M-O-R-A-L.)
